Sandra Joan DaMitz, 63, of Macks Creek, Mo., went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Mo.
Sandra was born Dec. 28, 1945 in Sullivan, Mo., a daughter to Raymond and Edna (Record) Miller. She had six brothers and two sisters.
Sandra was united in marriage on June 11, 1982, to Robert DaMitz.
God and family were her focus in life; and her dogs!
She enjoyed cross-stitching, quilting, reading, puzzles, games, cooking, game shows, traveling and garage sales.
Sandra loved holidays when her whole family could be together, and Christmas was her favorite.
No matter what she did or the circumstances she was in, she was always cheerful and was an inspiration to her family and friends.
Sandra is survived by sons; Rick DaMitz of Kansas City, Mo., Jeff White of Macks Creek, Kevin DaMitz of Nixa, Mo., Derek DaMitz of Fayetteville, N.C., and Joe Crider of Tunas, Mo.; daughters, Rhonda Morris of LuVerne, Minnesota, Joy Morris of Buffalo, Mo. and Peggy Garren of Louisburg, Mo.; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren along with several other relatives and friends.
Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert; her parents; three brothers, Bobby, Bud and John; and one sister, Beth Gullet.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at noon at the Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Mo. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m.-noon prior to service time at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Macks Creek Cemetery in Macks Creek.
