Nancy Lee Martin, 67, of Macks Creek, Mo., departed this life on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at her residence in Macks Creek.
She was born Jan. 5, 1942, in Anderson, Ind., a daughter to James and Lillian (Pavey) Moore.
She was united in marriage to Donald J. Martin on Aug.19, 1974 in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death in 2003.
Nancy worked for the Lake Sun Leader for 11 years, and more recently had worked at Walmart for the past four years in the jewelry department.
In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, and she loved flowers. More than anything though, she loved her family dearly and spending time with them.
Nancy is survived by Dean Wallis, a loving partner; two daughters, Cindy Pederson and husband Chuck of Sunrise Beach, Mo., and Cass Cross and husband Todd of Macks Creek, Mo.; one son, David Fritz of Vancouver, Wash.; five grandchildren, Nicole, Jesse and Kyle Pederson and Elizabeth and Nathan Cross as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald and one daughter Julie Fritz.
A Celebration of her Life will be held Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at 7 p.m. at the Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her name to The American Cancer Society.
